Production
made by Ao Naga tribe. Animals painted on garment indicate that the owner has hunted elephant, tiger and wild bison (bos gamus). Horns of domestic bison (bos frontalis) indicate wealth, as do axe-shaped signs, which represent chabli, an obsolete currency derived from long daos (knives).
