Object history | Apron for Anne Pedersdotter worn by Lillah McCarthy in John Masefield's English version of H Wiers-Jensen's play 'The Witch', Royal Court Theatre, London, 31st January 1911. The scenery was designed by Leslie Casey (by courtesy of Alfred Wareing, Director of the Glasgow Repertory Theatre), and the costumes were by Smyth & Wareing of Glasgow. Given to the British Theatre Museum Association by Mrs R.B. Hetherington, through the Borough of Worthing Museum and Art Gallery, in October 1966. |
