One of 5 drawings bought at auction on 9th April 1919 [E.3685 to 3689-1919]. Bought at the Degas Sale by C R D Maclagan on behalf of the V&A. E.3685 and 3686-1919 were lot 363; E.3687 and 3688-1919 were lot 364; E.3689-1919 was lot 388.
