Cutting from a Choir book. Initial O in patterned pink on a gold ground with a miniature of two Benedictine saint abbots one with three loaves and the other with a sword each holding his abbatial staff and framed in checkered blue and red. German, 16th century. A duplicate number MS.637 was assigned to this object in error and was subsequently cancelled.
