Boot for Petruchio worn by John Martin Harvey in William Shakespeare's play 'The Taming of the Shrew', Prince of Wales Theatre, London, 10th May 1913. The scenery was painted by George J Dodson, and the costumes were designed by George Kruger. The costumes were executed by Miss Gloag & Miss Alias. The music was under of the direction of Miss Nellie Chaplin (from the Fitzwilliam Collection & works of the same period).
