Costume reputedly for Sir Peter Teazle worn by Ralph Richardson. 18th century style waistcoat of pink silk repp with traces of silver lurex thread, embroidered down the fronts with green foliage and pink and blue flowers over an undulating blue and grey striped line. The pocket flaps have green foliage embroidery. The fronts are embroidered with small similar flower and foliage motifs. The buttons are of black plastic with raised gold flowers.
