Costume for ?Climene worn by Nina de Silva. 18th century style panniered dress of cerise rayon with short sleeves ending in deep frill; low wide neck with a collar of pink white chiffon with ruched edge. Attached petticoat of floral printed voile over which, at the centre front is attached a long apron with very deep frill of cream voile, appliqued with vertical rows of narrow green ribbon, the frill edged at the top with a ruched line of narrow green ribbon and bound at the hem with narrow green ribbon. Attached underskirt of pale pink rayon. A posy of artificial flowers at the centre front of the neckline.

The production was directed by Martin Harvey, the scenery was designed and executed by Alick Johnstone, and the costumes were designed by Grace Lovat Fraser. The masks were by Michael Mackenzie. |
