Denis Constanduros (1910–1978) produced six poster designs for Shell in the 1930s. Llanthony Priory is situated far up the narrow Honddu valley in the Black Mountains. It was once an Augustinan Priory. A house was built in part of the ruins in the late eighteenth century. The house was formerly owned by the poet, Walter Savage Landor, and is now a hotel. The ruins of the priory survive.
