Bibliographic reference | Games designed three posters in this series but initially had them rejected, writing to a friend, 'The blighters rejected a group of my new security posters - the whole lot. I was so wild and upset I told my chief I would rather chuck the job than amuse myself if it was not really wanted.' He did have one printed on this subject the previous year (see Circ.297-1971).
The quote is sourced from the National Army Museum, London, who staged 'The Art of Persuasion: Wartime Posters by Abram Games' in 2019. Another copy of this poster exists in their collection (NAM. 2013-07-2-7). |
