Poster poem for the black militant, Eldridge Cleaver (born 1935). A large part of the image is a silhouette of the Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara (1928-1968). Having spent most of his life in jail, Cleaver jumped bail in 1968 and fled to Cuba. From there he went to Algiers, where in 1972 he received a government subsidy and maintained a headquarters for the international section of the Black Revolutionary party, The Black Panthers."
