Machine-woven woollen chenille carpet with an all-over central design of marled blotching in shades of brown, camel and cream. Patterned border showing a repeating design of two geometric devises within squares worked in purplish-blue, cream and rust on a pink ground.

There is an inner and outer guard stripe of cream with black triangles edged in brown, an outer guard stripe showing a Near-Eastern stylised pattern in purplish-blue and black on cream and the carpet has an outer edging in black.
