International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries on the 8th of March. It was established in 1909 by the Socialist Party of America. Gradually, it has grown to represent the important contributions made by women worldwide. This poster celebrates the roles played by "ordinary" women, such as this factory worker, who normally receive little recongition for their hard work.
