Object history | In his autobiographical textbook 'Graven Image', London, 1940, pp.360-67, the artist gives an account of the production of illustrations for this book. These proofs were given by the artist to the Department of Circulation in 1948, and were subsequently transferred to the Department of Prints and Drawings. |
