Object history | Even without the inscription, the drap olive coloured stoneware and white springs would make this attributed to Pearsons. A hunting jug of roughly similar type illustrated by G A Godden Encyclopedia of British Pottery & Porcelain (1966) pl.453, is dated 1890 |
