Hussar peaked cap. The sides and crown are of black facecloth with, from the back, a band of white cloth, rising in front to the full height of the hat; from under this to the top are three rows of silver braid. The white cloth is edged with silver Russia braid, and at the centre front is a medallion of looped black Russia braid. The peak is of black leather with silver metal embroidery around the edge; the peak is lined with green leather. The hat is lined with black sateen.

The lyrics for the songs were by Christopher Hassall, and the show was produced by Leontine Sagan. The Choreography was by Ralph Reader, and the scenery and costumes were designed by Oliver Messel. |
