Production | Acquired as probably Lorraine, ca. 1760-1770 by comparison with a piece illustrated by Docteur Chompret, Jean Bloch, Jacques Gue´rin, and Paul Alfassa, Repertoire de la Faïence Francaise Paris, 1933-1935, Lorraine, pl. 3C; examined January 2000 by Jean-Luc Mousset who considered it 'not Lorraine'; examined by Christian Maire November 2004, who considered it possibly Lorraine or from a small factory in Eastern France. |
