Acquired as Pont-aux-Choux , late 18th century; relabelled c. 1760; examined by Jean-Luc Mousset (January 2000), who attributed it to Rambervillers, Lorraine; for a very similar cup and saucer, but with different handle, and attributed to Rambervillers, 18th century, see Dorothée Guillemé Brulon, La Faïence fine francaise, 1750-1867, Paris, 1995, p. 76; examined by Christian Maire November 2004, who considered it Rambervillers, c. 1769-1785.
