Gallery 128 Decant 2003 The cover has previously been attributed to Saint-Cloud, but has more recently been attributed to Mennecy.(07/06/2004)
Production
the silver mount has marks for 1752; When acquired the box was considered probably Mennecy, the cover probably Saint-Cloud'. Examined by Jean-Gabriel Peyre 1999, who considered the box Mennecy and the cover 'not Saint-Cloud, possibly Mennecy'.
