Production | Acquired as Marseilles, Fauchier factory, about 1750. Note in register: 'Mons Paul Bennot (?) said that this dish wd be classed as Montpellier in France, where this attribution is given to pieces in Fauchier style with poorer glaze, colours and drawing -- October 1957'.
