| Production | Acquired as Chantilly; relabelled as 'factory unknown, ca.1750-60. The cup is from a group that has been attributed to Orléans: see A. Dawson, Catalogue of French Porcelain ..., p. 244 and note 13. However, this attribution has been queried.
