Contemporary etchings
Etching has been practiced since the 16th century, not only to make original art works, but also as a means of reproducing drawings – such as botanical illustrations – for publication.
The V&A has 34 works related to Paragon Press.
Made between 1986 and 2017, these objects form part of the Prints, Drawings & Paintings Collection. We hold work made from printing ink, paper (fiber product) and ink. Related makers include Hope (Sufferance) Press, Marlborough Graphics and Coriander Studio.
