Acquired as Sceaux, mid-18th century; redated to the second half of the century; for a Sceaux bulb pot dated to c. 1770-80 and with the same bay leaf moulding see Dorothée Guillemé Brulon, Paris & Rouen - Sources et rayonnement, Histoire de la Faïence Francaise, Paris, 1998, p. 160 centre.
