Acquired as Mennecy; never formally reattributed, but displayed together with Saint-Cloud porcelain and illustrated as Saint-Cloud by George Savage (Seventeeth and Eighteenth Century French Porcelain, 1960, pl. 8B). For another attributed to Saint-Cloud and dated about 1735 see Sotheby's, Stansted Park sale, 5 October 1999, lot 291 (in the cataloguing to which a further example is cited in an article on Mennecy).
