Object history | These paintings were acquired in 1948 by W.G. Archer from the Patna painter Ishwari Prasad (1870-1950), who had inherited them from his Murshidabad ancestors; he and his Patna forebears had preserved the paintings as models for further paintings. |
Production | Painted on mica by a member of the Patna artist Ishwari Prasad's atelier in the style of later Murshidabad school. |
