Place of origin |
Martin Cole is a photographer based in the South East of England who has been developing a new body of landscape photography work since 2003. In this series, Cole has represented the grassy landscape of Sussex with only a small segment of sky visible. With this abstracting composition, the banks of grass connote not only the steep hillside landscapes but become highly textural forms, reminiscent of animal pelts.
