This waistcoat was worn by Nina de Silva as Viera in the play 'A Cigarette Maker's Romance', performed at the Royal Court, London, 11th February 1901. The play was written by Charles Hannan after the novel by Marion Crawford, and was performed by the Martin Harvey Company.
