A three storey house with centre door and two windows on the ground floor, 3 windows on the second floor and a square opening which originally may have had a door on the 3rd floor. There is an overhang between the ground and second floor and between the second and third floors; each supported by 4 pairs of triangular blocks. The roof rises steeply and is concave; at front is a 3 sided protruding gable fron which hangs the rope for the lift; it is held in place by an eye hook. The two floor front is hinged on left with a hook and pin on the right side of the structure; front opens to reveal the inside. The front and both sides are covered with lithographed paper; back, base, roof and inside are painted. The roof painted dark blue with black edgings; paintword of the house and base is a greyish olive green. Lithographed paper on sides is marked with black lines representing cream stones/bricks on lower half and timber and plaster work design on upper half; timber is cream with red edge grooves and black lines. The front ground floor is marked to show cream bricks; around windows and door, design is red with black lines. The windows are clear glass; door is tan with 3 panels marked out with brown lines and white lines. From the two hinges are painted two decorative hinges. The upper storey and roof storey are similar to the upper storey of sides. The inside, painted off white, has a ground and 2 addition floors. At the centre front is the lift made of tin and supported by a floor to ceiling 3 bar metal frame; at top is a small lever to hold lift on top floor
