Main body of the cloth is black. It is distinguished by end borders (L. 32 cm.) which feature two bands of geometric patterns in variations of nra pu (Desmodium Grans in bloom) within a kanipu (poppy in bloom) in a supplementary weave in pinks, green and yellow silk floss embellished with gold and silver metal thread amidst of 3 repeats of weft stripes in yellow white, green silk, silver threads and gold ribboning.
The whole of the garment is edged with silver cording.
