This is a relief made by Joseph Pertot of Berne in Venice, about 1690-1700. This relief is in wax covered with seed pearls and coloured stones and representing a youth pierced with the arrows of love.

The elaborate frame is typically Venetian. The flesh of the youth is closely covered with minute seed pearls, while other parts of the relief are sprinkled with fragments of coloured stones.
