Coffee pot, silver, the body pear shaped supported on a stand with a lamp. The coffee pot on a spreading foot with similar handle and gadrooned border, the domed cover with a carved ivory finial. The stand on three fluted and paw feet with gadrooned border. Once engraved with a coat of arms which have been subsequently removed.

Silver, London hallmarks for 1813-14, mark of Paul Storr.
Physical description
Coffee pot, silver, the body pear shaped supported on a stand with a lamp. The coffee pot on a spreading foot with similar handle and gadrooned border, the domed cover with a carved ivory finial. The stand on three fluted and paw feet with gadrooned border. Once engraved with a coat of arms which have been subsequently removed.

This plain, neo classical styled coffee pot is typical of understated early 19th century design. It could have been used to serve coffee at breakfast or after dinner."
