The two masks are modelled in high relief on a slate slab with a gilded metal mount. One head expresses ill temper and the other rage or horror. The hair and ears are in the form of leaves.

Two grotesque masks in red wax on slate. Both modelled in high relief on a slate slab with a gilded metal mount. The one head expresses ill temper and the other rage or horror. Hair and ears take the form of leaves. Some of the waves forming hair are chipped.
