These models in white wax on a slate ground are presumably designs intended for rosary beads, or small devotional medalets. The models are on thin plaques of slate each bearing two or three designs. These include the Resurrection, the Ascension and the Pentecost.

Physical description

3 models in white wax on a slate ground. Presumably designs intended for rosary beads, or small devotional medalets.

1. The Resurrection: the figure of Christ rises above the tomb, in his left hand he holds the banner while his right (now missing) is raised in blessing, to the left and right are armed soldiers.
2. The Ascension: above is the ascended Christ in fluttering robes, below are seven disciples seated in a circle.
3. The Pentecost (?): the Virgin (?) kneels on a dais in the middle with her arms raised. Round her are seated other figures looking upwards; above each head are the tongues of flame, above, (now missing) a cloud (?).
