An allegorical figure of a woman in flowing drapery reclines on a rock her left arm resting on a pedestal carved with the arms of Pope Clement XII. On her head she carried a helmet and in her left hand a pair of scales. Her right arm is now broken away but appears from the marks on the slate to have held a sceptre or staff the ends of which rested on her leg. Before her are two seated Cupids playing with a fasces. To the right and left there are ruins and trophies. These portions of the composition have at some time broken away from the slate and been badly reset.

Physical description
Relief in pink wax on slate. An allegorical figure of a woman (Justice) in flowing drapery reclines on a rock her left arm resting on a pedestal carved with the arms of Pope Clement XII. She wears a helmet and carries a pair of scales in her left hand. Her right arm is now broken away but appears from the marks on the slate to have held a sceptre or staff the ends of which rested on her leg. Before her are two seated cupids playing with a fasces. To the right and left ruins and trophies (?). These portions of the composition have at some time broken away from the slate and been badly reset. Above, the inscription: EXPECTATA VENIS. In the exergue: MDCCXXI.
