This is a model for a medal. It is a relief in wax on slate. It shows St Peter enthroned. The saint is seen slightly from the right, the keys are held in the crook of his left arm, the right raised in blessing. He has a halo and the full cloak falls round him in elaborate folds. The whole composition is kept within an incised circle.
