This Pahari painting shows a woman looking in a mirror. She appears to have just finished bathing and is arranging her ornaments. A servant is drying her leg while another holds the mirror for her. Pahari is a style of painting particular to the Punjab Hills of northern India.

Physical description

Painting showing a lady, naked except for a mauve dhoti, standing on a stool and looking in a mirror while she arranges her hair. A maid stands in front of her while a second maid crouches behind her, drying her right leg.
