This obverse only bronze medal depicts Emilie of Brandenburg (1516-1591) and is attributed to Christoph Weiditz (ca. 1500-1559). The medal was formerly attributed by Habich to the Master of the Simon Pistorius medal.

Physical description

Copper 88.6%, tin 6.2%. Lead was also present. Obverse only.
