Object history
Included in the exhibition held to celebrate 25 years of Queensberry Hunt, V&A.M. 1992. With the jug (C.211-1993), made for Martin Hunt's degree show, RCA, 1966 where they won the RCA prize for three-dimensional design for that year. Martin Hunt sees a link between these prototypes, which were never put into production, and the "recent range with Thomas called York where the leaf shaped plan forms a major theme for the new range" (letter from M.H.13.7.93).
