The Royal Australian Mint issued this set in 1966. In that year decimal currency was introduced in Australia. The reverses of the coins depict Australian flora and fauna, while the obverses bear the head of the queen, Elizabeth II. This presentation pack shows both sides. It was designed by Stuart Devlin CMG, AO, who was awarded the commission after a limited competition in 1963.
