18th century - 19th century (engraved)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

A man is standing in the foreground, at the right of the image, with a shotgun raised in his hands, shooting at a group of ducks on some water who are flying away in panic. The man is wearing a top hat and three-quarter length coat. He has two small gundogs by his feet. In the air above the water, a flock of ducks can be seen. In the middle distance, below the man's shotgun, there are two figures in a small rowing boat.
On the verso there is an imprint of lines of text from another sheet, suggesting that this print was removed from a book containing text.
