Two lynx in and under a large tree.One of the lynx is standing in the branches, facing to the left of the image; whilst the other is lying in a hollow beneath one of the roots, looking viciously towards the viewer. A small amount of white ink work has been used to highlight the animals' fur.
The image was framed by a single white line but only the top line is visible due to the sheet being trimmed.

Measured by DH 29/11/2010 Sheet is trimmed resulting in the loss of some of the framing line.
