Physical description
Six small ivory panels carved with flowers and leaves, set within a rectangular, silver-gilt frame. Box embossed with a motif surrounding shaped panels with carved ivory panels, two in the front and back, one at each end, all with floral or leaf swags. One at the left and inscribed: XXIX. The domed lid embellished with a variety of leaf and floral motifs embossed. There is a large ivory panel on the top of the box lid carved with a Venus and Cupid.
