This is a pen, ink, and wash drawing in elevation on paper of doors, a door-case and panelling in the former Little Parlour of Thorpe Hall. Thorpe Hall was a mansion built in 1653-1656 during the Commonwealth period by Peter Mills for the Lord Chief Justice Oliver St. John.

Physical description
Pen, ink, and wash drawing in elevation on paper of doors, a door-case and panelling in the former Little Parlour of Thorpe Hall. The illustration depicts unadorned panelling with minimal detailed carving found only at the centre and tops of doors and in the moulding near the ceiling. A scale and some notes are inscribed below the drawing.
