Physical description
Knife with soft-paste porcelain handle, steel blade, brass ferrule. The handle pistol gripped, pointed at the end. The handle is painted with two panels with a claret ground containing bold scrollwork and flowers. These enclose two narrower bands which contain finely delineated trails of flower heads on a white ground. The blade a later replacement.
