A cow, viewed at a slight angle, standing facing the viewer. In the middle distance to the right of the picture a second cow can be partly seen, viewed from behind. In the middle distance to the left of the picture a boy wearing a hat is clambering over the top of a small slope. A third cow, also with its back to the viewer, can be seen in the distance to the left of the picture.
Bound in a booklet containing the whole series of six prints, E.1296A-F-1886.

Three cattle and a boy. Engraving print on laid paper. Engraved in 1771 by Jean-Jacques Avril (the elder) after a design by Jean Pillement. Part of a series of six prints of oxen and cattle issued in Paris. Bound in a booklet containing the whole series (E.1296A to F-1886).
