This is one of a group of German traditional toys which were made in the 1900s and were mainly based on very old designs. This toy horse is carved from wood and has a slight dip in its back, possibly to accomodate a rider.

Physical description

Carved and painted wooden horse with a slight dip in the back, possibly to accomodate a rider. It is brightly coloured in white, blue, red, yellow, green and black.
