Physical description

The rug design is in the top right hand corner of the sheet, a vertical rectangle, laterally divided into two. Each half contains an contrasting-coloured oval, the colours are yellow, orange, red and deep aubergine. Below the flat pattern design are four coloured wool samples which are handspun for a flatweave tapestry. The sheet is folded in half with the fold on the left edge and with holes from where it has been torn from a sketchbook on the underside right edge.
