"Stop Art Against War The Stop the War Coalition is proud to announce the publication of one hundred limited, signed editions of eight anti-war posters produced for the Coalition by seven of the best graphic artists working in Britain today. Poster no 1 Peter Kennard Poster No 2 Martin Rowson Poster No 3 David Gentleman Poster No 4 Jamie Reid Poster No 5 Steve Bell Poster No 6 Ralph Steadman Poster No 7 Clifford Harper Poster No 8 Ralph Steadman The funds raised from the sale of these posters will be used to promote an exhibition of anti-war works by major contemporary artists in the autumn of 2003. The exhibition will also feature the banners, posters, artefacts, slogans, stills, drawings that were created by two million marchers on the antiwar demonstrations. We aim to have the exhibition capture some of the spirit of that campaign. Stop the War Coalition June 2003"
