Goswin Uilenbroek (1658–1740), Amsterdam, his sale, Amsterdam, Beukelaar, 23 October 1741, Album K: ‘Een groot Boek in Jugt leer van omtrent 120 Tekeningen, gewassen van Bisschop na Statuen en groepen in Antieke Bas relieven, getekent met voornemen om in ‘t koper te brengen, gelyk hy in zyn Voorreden van zijn Boek zegt, op groot gedubbelt papier geplakt. 4 ou plus’ (bt. for 280 fl.); Cornelis Ploos van Amstel Jb Czn (1726–98), Amsterdam (L. 2725), 1760–c.1763;1 probably Benjamin West (1738–1820), London; probably Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723–92), London; Horace Walpole (1717–97), London and Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, 1763; Edwin Parsons (dealer), London; from whom purchased for the museum (each individual drawing with dry stamp version of L. 1958), 8 June 1889 for £13. 13s. 0d.
