Place of origin

The base is 8 sided and is painted yellow with two floral rings in red and green. It stands on 6 small circular feet (2 are missing from the original 8) which have been painted brown. The top of the base is green and nailed on. On the base top are 4 celluloid angel figures, one in a blue dress playing a clarinet, one in green with an accordion, one in pink with a violin, and one in green with a book. All have gold wings. In the centre of the base top is a merry-go-round with a grey base spotted with gold over a green base. From this 4 metal uprights support the roof with a grey top and green and white underside. In the centre is a column with three horses and riders, one missing, and a canopy of gold paper. The turning handle of metal and wood protrudes from the main base. When turned a tune is played and the toy rotates.
