On a rocky mound in a setting of four palm trees, its branches filled with angels bearing various objects including a crown, a helmeted warrior, in a tunic decorated with fleurs-de-lis, holding a sword in his left hand and a shield decorated with the portrait of a cardinal in his right, stands on a pile of armour. Four angels attach messages to the trunks of the palm trees. In the foreground, a large empty space, surmounted by numerous putti and flanked by angels blowing trumpets; in the left background, Hercules is killing the Hydra, and below, a burial (?) scene; in the right background, the Labyrinth.
